Dear All
URGENT
Change of notice regarding vaccinations at Crassula Hall Thursday 15 July
We have just received the very upsetting notification that our supply of vaccines due for release on Thursday 15 July at Crassula Hall has had to be withdrawn. This has occurred due to a failure of an alarm system in the provincial pharmaceutical storage refrigeration facility, which has meant that 312 vials are not fit for use. Despite all efforts, no alternative supply has yet been made available by the province for Overstrand clinics for the rest of this week.
We are very sorry therefore to inform you that the vaccination clinic at Crassula Hall cannot now take place as planned on Thursday the 15th and all bookings will fall away.
We hope to open this vaccination site instead one week later on 22 July.
In the meantime, we hear there are some plans afoot to accommodate walk in vaccinations on the weekends, especially for residents of Mooiuitsig. We shall keep you posted as we learn more details of this, including the location.

TANKER SERVICE REQUEST IN HANGKLIP-KLEINMOND - expected delays 12.07.2021
During the past two weeks, the Hangklip-Kleinmond Administration received 751 and 587 tanker service requests respectively. The average call-out rate is ± 450 per week. The reason is that tanks are not watertight and water ingresses into tanks.
With the prevailing rain, these services are placed under tremendous strain and 4 – 5 day delays are being experienced.
All conservancy tanks should be watertight so that no stormwater or groundwater can ingress into the tank. Notices will be issued to residents where the request for tanker services does not align with the potable water usage of the household.
To request a tanker service, Whatsapp your request to 081 751 0170 or phone Kleinmond Administration on 028 271 8400/8404/8435 or phone Overstrand Control Room 24-hour after-hours number on 028 313 8111.

Dear All
COVID 19 VACCINATION: IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Department of Health has requested us to distribute the attached general notice widely within our Hangklip community. Because the Department does not have the capacity to proceed with vaccinating everyone who has registered, there needs to be a system of prioritsation, as the notice clearly sets out. (PDF below.)
The 50 year age group must therefore please wait for a CONFIRMATION SMS stating the date, time and place at which they should present themselves for vaccination. The Department is currently still prioritising the 60 years and older group.
We take this opportunity to confirm that the next vaccination clinic at the Crassula Hall will take place on Thursday 15 July.
Please feel free to relay this notice so that it can be brought to the attention of all concerned.
Kind regards
George Green Chairman
