Goeie dag aan almal. Greetings to you all.

During the first half of August the crime stats were looking better but in the second half there was a sudden increase especially in Stony Point and Jocks Bay.

Greeting to you all/Groete aan u almal.

During July there has been a reduction in the number of burglaries reported to SAPS…

Greeting to you all/Groete aan u almal.

The burglaries that took place during June show an increase over the previous months and in particular the Stony Point and Rondevlei areas suffering the most from criminal activity.

Our newsletter this month takes on a different look. Below is a letter drafted by one of the people who help us on a regular basis. I have copied the letter without any editing.

Greetings to you all. Beste Lesers.

The burglaries that took place during April were less than the average for the preceding months. The area around the main beach however, has shown an increase during the past month. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any unusual activity to their security companies and the 24/7 emergency phone 072 0155729.

Public participatition meeting on 20/2/2018 (Tuesday, February the 20th),  at 18h00 at Crassula Hall.

Presentations will be given by a camera security company and SAPS regarding cameras for Betty's Bay. Public participatition is required so that all issues can be addressed. Tea and coffee will be served.

Please find attached a DOCX or PDF file of the report.

Greetings to all residents,
We apologise for the delay in distributing this newsletter, as there was some uncertainty on the statistics which needed to be clarified. There has been a 10% reduction in the number of incidents reported when comparing August with July.
